Did someone say purjury?
Unless you were hiding under a rock on Wednesday then you probably caught or heard of the 5 hour long congressional hearing with Major league baseball player Roger Clemens. They even brought the nanny into question giving her a good 5 mins of fame. Clemens danced around every question he was asked and made himself look like a fool. Then you have Brian Mcnamee who did the same exact thing, its almost as if you can't believe either of them. What a waste of a day! Even Andy Pettitte confessed that Clemens was taking steroids because of a conversation that he had with Clemnes about the human growth hormone. Clemens kept replying that he "didnt remember" anything, I mean what is he suffering from alzheimers now all of a sudden? I dont know about anyone else but I am so sick of hearing about this. Why cant the guy just confess and get over it, give someone else the chance to make news headlines for a little while. He dug himself into a very deep hole that at this point would take a miracle for him to get out of.

Johan Santana and his success with the Mets
A press conference was held with Johan Santana on Wednesday Feb. 6th. Santana was embraced by both Willie Randolph and Omar Minaya, watching the press conference kind of reminded me of when the Yankees re-signed Roger Clemens last year. All the hype that came with the re-signing of Clemens, also came with the signing of Santana to the Mets. Many people were concerned with whether or not Santana would be able to adjust to New York. If Clemens and Carlos Beltran could do it than why cant he? His presence at the front of the rotation takes pressure off young starters such as John Maine. Santana also eases the burden on the bullpen that was so stressed last year. “Being a Braves fan I really could care less how Santana does with the Mets. Frankly, I hope the Mets end up exactly like they did last season even with Santana.”
